What is the best way to advertise to people who eat lots of pizza?

I have a client who owns a chain of pizza restaurants. He does a lot of direct mail, door hangers, box toppers, marriage mail, free standing inserts and the like.

I handle only his radio and television advertising. He always sees a sales increase when he advertises in broadcast, but he always backs off from renewing his schedule because it is so expensive.

How can I convince him that the sales increases he sees in broadcast advertising are worth the money it takes to advertise 12 months a year?

Have him come up with some cheesy slogan – in Texas there is a chain that would offer their special of the week if you said, "Fresher, Faster Pinker" when you placed your order- Taco Cabana (Bright Pink Buildings)
It was brilliant – because you would think about it every time you drove past their chain…. AND it was measurable.

Remind him that his business is up from theadvertising and that it is also building long term brand recognition.

Good luck!

  1. Have his clients fill out a quick survey about how they decided to eat at his place.. anf hell see that it was because of the broadcast.

  4. Have the customers mention something to get a discount or just ask them directly how did they here about the business and take a tally. You could have a survey box – promote a prize in exchange for filling out a survey card.
